Due to declining health we would like to sell this lovely little car!
-A little about the car's history
- The car was produced in Paris in March 1925 as a type TL C3 convertible,
- Registered for the first time in 1926 in Aalborg, Denmark as U5773, (DK).
- After many detours, the car came to "Smeden på Bogø" where my father bought it in 1989, partly in boxes for € 5.000
- 1989-1995 total restoration with new woodwork, sheet metal cladding and new hood,
- 1995: Registered with number RL28465, (DK).
- 2002: I took over the car from my father,
- 2015: Total disassembled, repainted in the original colors "Rouge Excelsior" and black at Kvistgård Autolak for € 4.500
- 2015: Reregistered to original black license plate U5773, (DK).
- 2018: Engine major repair at Iversens Cylinderservice in Horsens € 6.000
- 2019: New Michelin tires, tubes and renovated rims € 1.600
- 2024: Original cooling fan retrofitted € 1.200
- The car runs very well,
- It appears to be original , all the shiny parts are nickel-plated,
- It starts easily with the electric starter, but also by hand crank (even without a battery, as it has magneto ignition).
- The original 3-brush dynamo charges fine with the manual voltage regulation, and there is enough power to drive "full lights on".
